A group of friends from Dali and I climbed Haba Mountain this May holiday. Along with high altitudes, high winds, and a snowstorm, we had to brave large crowds. There were 60 to 70 climbers at base camp, and between 20 to 30 people up on the mountain each day. The summit is 5396 m (17,699 ft).
